Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, goal-oriented Bench Sales & Candidate Marketing Recruiter to join our team
in Hyderabad. In this role, you will manage, train, and market a pool of OPT/STEM OPT candidates (both
on-payroll bench and active talent pool). You will be responsible for candidate intake, career readiness,
resume optimization, compliance oversight, active marketing to prime vendors/MSPs/clients, and end-to-end
placement.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Intake & Assessment
• Call every candidate on the bench and in the prospect list; capture availability, current location,
relocation preference, expected pay rate, work authorization, and experience details.
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date candidate tracker (Google Sheets/ATS) with daily status updates.
Candidate Preparation & Enablement
• Identify skill gaps and enroll candidates with our in-house training team where needed.
• Help candidates build and polish market-ready resumes aligned to target job roles.
• Conduct mock interviews and coach candidates for technical and client interviews.
• Build candidates’ confidence and remove hesitation in speaking with American recruiters and hiring
managers (communication and accent-neutral coaching).
• Guide candidates in acquiring relevant technology certifications (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, etc.).
• Optimize and regularly update candidates’ LinkedIn profiles and job-portal presence.
Bench Marketing & Sales
• Market consultant profiles daily to Tier-1 vendors, direct clients, implementation partners, and MSPs.
• Prepare and circulate daily hotlists; post and refresh profiles on Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed,
and LinkedIn.
• Build and maintain a strong vendor network; negotiate best rates on C2C/W2/1099 terms.
• Coordinate interviews, follow up on submissions, and drive candidates to placement.
• Arrange job support / project support for placed consultants when required.
Compliance
• Keep all OPT/STEM OPT candidates compliant – track unemployment days, SEVIS/DSO reporting
timelines, and I-983 training-plan requirements for STEM OPT.
• Maintain proper documentation for payroll consultants and placements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Bench Sales Recruiter in US IT staffing, marketing OPT/CPT/H1B/GC/USC
consultants.
• Strong knowledge of US work-authorization categories and tax terms (C2C, W2, 1099).
• Excellent spoken and written English; confident communicating with US vendors and hiring managers.
• Hands-on experience with job portals, hotlists, mass-mailing tools, and LinkedIn.
• Strong negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to work night shift (US Eastern/Central time), remotely or from our Hyderabad office.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
• Daily candidate calls and profile submissions.
• Weekly vendor interviews scheduled per consultant.
• Monthly placements and time-to-place per consultant.
• Bench utilization and compliance status of all OPT/STEM OPT candidates.
