Job Description:

Schnabel Engineering is a growing, mid-sized civil engineering firm with 32 offices nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team in our Chadds Ford, PA office. Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, you will bring a strong passion for branding and design and contribute to a wide range of print and digital deliverables that support our strategic initiatives. In addition to handson design execution, you will help refine our creative processes, collaborate closely with team members, and uphold best practices in design techniques, branding, and visual communication. We operate in a Mac environment, offer a competitive salary, and allow partial remote work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Services and internal clients
  • Apply and evolve brand standards to produce clean, consistent work
  • Design print and digital collateral including social media graphics, stationery, trade show materials, etc.
  • Communicate design decisions with clear creative and technical rationale
  • Manage digital assets by processing, retouching, organizing, and filing media
  • Coordinate photoshoots and work with outside vendors as needed
  • Create and/or refine supplemental visual assets such as infographics, icons, and maps
  • Own projects from concept to completion

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 5+ years of professional design experience with a strong, diverse portfolio
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express; working knowledge of MS Office
  • Demonstrated excellence in visual craft, typography, layout, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Selfstarter with a proactive, organized, and accountable work style
  • Solid understanding of design principles, production processes, and print standards
  • Familiarity with brand systems and maintaining visual consistency across channels

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
