To thrive, it's important to proactively communicate, embrace flexibility, and be willing to take initiative on projects. Additionally, leveraging digital collaboration tools and maintaining regular check-ins with your team can help you stay aligned and connected.

What Are Remote Jobs Working for Startups?

Remote startup jobs exist in various industries. The duties of these virtual positions vary but typically involve taking part in the development of processes, products, and services for a new business. Since these are virtual positions, you handle your responsibilities over the internet. As a software developer at a startup, you may code and test products or create internal programs that a startup can use on their computer network. As a graphic designer, you may create various images and visual elements for the website and/or product packaging. Startups also need remote business development specialists and accountants to create a development plan, make decisions, and handle the company’s finances.

What is a remote startup?

A remote startup is a newly established company where the founders and employees work from different locations, rather than from a central office. These startups leverage digital tools and online platforms to communicate, collaborate, and manage projects remotely. This model allows for greater flexibility, access to a global talent pool, and reduced operational costs. However, it also presents challenges in communication, team cohesion, and time zone coordination. Remote startups have become increasingly popular, especially in the tech industry, due to advancements in remote work technology.

Job description

Join our team. Dream big. And achieve more than you thought possible.
We're an innovative e-comm and healthcare brand building something big and straightforward: the best place for those over 45 to get real health care that helps them feel strong, healthy, and happy as they get older. Separately, we also buy and grow businesses that are leaders in their niches.
WHO WE ARE & HOW WE OPERATE
We're a hard-driving, fast-paced team of continuous improvers-a team, not a family-hiring and developing stars (leaders) in every role. We live by six core beliefs that drive massive success:
Remarkable: Go the extra mile to create jaw-dropping experiences (JDCE) that turn first-timers into re-order loyalists-we're in the reorder business. Develop unique superpowers; do what competitors won't.
Adaptable: Lifelong learners who grow or die-learn fast, fail fast, grab ideas anywhere, simplify everything, and proactively fix/improve everything around you.
Accountable: Own your outcomes like it's your company - be demanding yet supportive, 100% responsibility, share updates in Slack/Kustomer (our collective brain), own mistakes and fix them fast.
Speed is King: Act now over perfection; good executed today beats perfect next week. Maniacal urgency, get sh*t done measurably, predisposed to action and efficiency.
Don't Sugar Coat It: Tell the truth straight - tough talks help growth; - uncomfortable conversations fuel progress; no avoidance, speak up respectfully.
Humble: Think of the business first - admit gaps, share wins, own losses, pick what's right over who's right.
Role:
We are looking for a sharp, creative, fast, AI-First social media manager to join the team. This is a role for someone who loves social media, understands how to develop and iterate on a brand, understands how to create static image and video shorts poststhat HOLDS ATTENTION, and magnetize our target avatar (women 45-64)
Key Responsibilities:
Craft & schedule 28 organic posts/week on Instagram & Facebook: Inspirational, relatable content on health & wellness for women (e.g., stubborn belly strategies, hormone-smart habits, mindset resets, strength training for metabolism, consistency over perfection, thriving through menopause/perimenopause, energy-boosting routines, small daily wins).
Style mirrors empowering voices like Denise Austin, Chalene Johnson or Melissa Neill: Motivational, practical tips on building muscle, easy Zone 2 movement, nutrition consistency, overcoming "it's not working anymore" frustration, and feeling strong/vibrant again.
Moderate Meta ads/comments: Swiftly remove negativity/spam, delete/block trolls/bad actors to foster a safe, supportive community.
Manage IG/social calendars and deliverables across 2 brands
You're Perfect If You:
1-3 Years Experience creating/curating IG/FB organic content for women 45+ (wellness, fitness, mindset focus).
Detail-oriented, quick, cheerful communicator with strong English skills.
Tech-savvy (Meta Business Suite, schedulers); adaptable in a high-growth startup.
Aligned with our values: Remarkable, Adaptable, Accountable, Speed is King, Energy Givers > Takers, Humble.
What you get:
Stable, predictable income (no chasing clients or lessons)
Remote freedom (webcam + fast internet required)
Growth track-top performers level up fast & can move to sales, marketing, ops, leadership
Be part of building something huge in longevity (helping customers live longer, healthier-meaningful AF
Tools You Might Use:
ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper.ai Copy.ai (or similar)
Klaviyo, Figma, Google Docs, Trello, Slack
What we expect from you:
High work ethic (Monday-Saturday)
Be a team player committed to client wins.
Benefits
The stuff below is cool as well.
  • Remote: our team is fully distributed across the world and functions fully remotely.
  • Personal development: budget for books, courses, coaching.
  • Personal wellness: budget for gym, health apps.
  • What are we missing? We're still early so you get to shape our culture.
