This full-time position is ideal for an empathetic clinician eager to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals dealing with mental health challenges. You will provide remote counseling services to diverse patient populations while fostering a collaborative approach to mental health care delivery.

About the Organization

At Life Stream Behavioral Health LLC, we believe in promoting healthier communities through access to quality, patient-centered healthcare services. Our mission focuses on serving medically underserved areas, ensuring that all individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve, regardless of their ability to pay. By listening and acting on the needs of the community, we strive to become a model for other health centers, setting standards for inclusivity and patient care excellence.

Work Environment

This role operates in a flexible remote telehealth setting, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space while utilizing technology to provide effective mental health support. Our culture encourages teamwork, continuous professional development, and a shared commitment to our mission and values. The ideal candidate will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and enhance overall client care.
  • Engage with clients in a culturally sensitive manner, respecting diverse beliefs, interpersonal styles, and behaviors.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings, employing developmentally appropriate tools, while also arranging for additional assessments when necessary.
  • Create, implement, and oversee integrated care plans that link clients to necessary services and facilitate open communication among clients, their families, and other providers.
  • Deliver brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services, including crisis intervention as needed based on individual client circumstances.
  • Manage a caseload of clients through ongoing assessment, and provide individual, group, and family therapy tailored to their specific needs.
  • Monitor treatment plans and ensure timely follow-up to guarantee that clients receive appropriate services focused on their presenting issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including reports and data submissions that comply with organizational standards.
  • Provide on-call support during designated hours, thereby ensuring clients have access to care as needed.
  • Participate in committees and agency initiatives that aim to improve service delivery and uphold quality standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse range of clients, primarily those facing significant mental health challenges in under-resourced areas. The role demands a strong commitment to understanding the unique contexts from which these individuals come—from socioeconomic factors to various cultural backgrounds—allowing you to offer tailored and empathic support.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia.
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions, along with crisis management skills.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication to effectively engage clients and document care.
  • Demonstrated behavioral competency specifically addressing age-related and developmental needs across various populations.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in mental health is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply, as this enhances our ability to serve a broader client base.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, reflecting experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid time off, and life insurance.
