Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine each client’s mental health status and individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' therapeutic goals, integrating recognized therapeutic approaches.
• Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies tailored to each client's unique challenges.
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms to ensure continued access to care for clients, enhancing their treatment experience.
• Offer crisis intervention services when necessary, acting decisively to support clients during tumultuous times.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of mental health best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude that creates a safe healing environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and documentation.
• No history of disciplinary actions on record, ensuring the highest standards of professional integrity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual tools for client engagement and sessions.
• Background in specific evidence-based therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to improve workflow efficiency and documentation accuracy.
