Position: Salesforce (nCino) Developer

Our client has 1700+ users on the Salesforce platform, which is used by their customers primarily for Sales Enablement (prospecting, client relationships) and Loan Origination (Deals, Underwriting, Portfolio Maintenance using nCino).
Responsibilities: - Work with a cross-functional team to transform a strategic backlog into high-quality software, delivering real business value.
- Drive technical design options and write scalable and sustainable code.
- Work on a agile team of highly talented IT professionals whose primary focus is roadmap work on the INC (nCino) Salesforce platform.
- Work closely with other agile teams to drive new feature build-out; an IT Operations team providing user support; our Product Owners, Super users and Subject Matter experts in the line of business; and IT professionals across the bank to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience working in the platform.
- Help configure and operate the Salesforce org as a Salesforce and nCino developer.
- Write beautiful, scalable, sustainable code (apex/soql/t-sql/javascript) that enables complex business processes.
- Work with Salesforce UI designs (Visualforce and Lightning Components).
- Work to integrate Salesforce with external systems and platforms using modern API and middleware technologies.
- Pair program and review other developers'' code to uphold coding best practices, get fast feedback and continuously learn.
- Leverage Test Driven Development and collaborate with Quality Engineers to contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end test case development.
- Work with developer tooling such as source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with AI technologies such as GitHub for Copilot.
- Participate in conversations with product owners and team members to ensure shared understanding.
- Gain understanding of underlying business processes to best support customers.
- Stay up to date on Salesforce and nCino releases, features, and best practices.
- Learn and apply lean and agile principles to continuously improve our understanding, our products, and our team.
Experience Required:
A Salesforce Developer should have a combination of technical, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills to effectively drive roadmap features forward on the Salesforce platform.
Education: This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor''s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 3-5 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, Sales, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills: - 3+ years programming experience (JavaScript, java, apex, t-sql, soql, bash, etc.).
- Working knowledge of source code repos and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of clean architecture concepts.
- Working knowledge of SOLID design principles.
- Working knowledge data integration patterns (batch or real-time).
- Working knowledge of domain driven design concepts and techniques such as ubiquitous languages, bounded contexts, and event storming.
- 1+ years working with integrations (API, Data Loads, …)
- 6+ months working with AI technologies for writing code, quality checks, or other related exposure (preferred).
Problem-solving ability: Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to provide technical solutions to problems of moderate to high complexity.
Communication/Relationships: Enjoy working in teams and across departments to achieve business objectives while building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor and create raving fans.
Adaptability: - Willingness to flex to help the team achieve sprint goals.
