This role can involve tracking online activity, accessing remote devices, or observing targets via cameras and other monitoring equipment. The legality and ethics of remote spying vary greatly depending on the context, purpose, and jurisdiction. Most legitimate organizations do not use the term 'Remote Spy' and instead refer to roles such as cybersecurity analyst, private investigator, or digital forensics expert.
