Job Summary

M&M Talent Group is seeking experienced Industrial Painters for a full-time opportunity in Waller, TX.

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces and applying industrial coatings to fabricated components and large-scale industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, spray application, industrial coatings, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare metal and fabricated surfaces for painting and coating.
  • Perform grinding, sanding, cleaning, masking, and other surface-preparation activities.
  • Perform abrasive blasting when required.
  • Apply primers, paints, and industrial coatings using spray equipment and other approved application methods.
  • Properly mix paints, coatings, and solvents according to specifications.
  • Follow coating manufacturer's instructions and established application procedures.
  • Inspect surfaces before, during, and after coating applications.
  • Monitor coating coverage, thickness, appearance, and finish quality.
  • Identify and correct coating defects when necessary.
  • Operate and maintain spray guns, hoses, pumps, blasting equipment, and related tools.
  • Properly clean and maintain painting equipment.
  • Handle paints, solvents, and other chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other painting and surface-preparation duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
  • Experience with spray painting equipment preferred.
  • Experience with abrasive blasting and surface preparation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial paints, primers, coatings, and application techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and coating specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify surface and coating defects.
  • Ability to safely work with paints, solvents, and other industrial chemicals.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to work at heights when required.
  • Ability to lift and move painting equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work in a paint booth and industrial environment.
  • Ability to wear respirators and required PPE.
  • Must be comfortable working around paint fumes, dust, noise, and industrial equipment.
