Job description

Data Platform and Security Engineer 100% REmote 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Focuses on hardening Client’s Data Platforms and code environment against AI-driven attacks (like Mythos) by preventing vulnerabilities early and accelerating remediation using AI.

Objectives:

1. Preventing vulnerabilities in code (shift-left security)

  • Embed controls earlier in the Data platforms
  • Catch issues before they reach production

 

2. Accelerating remediation at AI speed

  • Handle vulnerability volume and velocity driven by AI tools
  • Improve throughput of fixing vulnerabilities

 

Required Qualifications

  • AWS Security & Automation Expertise
    • Strong understanding of core AWS security and governance services, including IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
    • Experience with infrastructure automation and serverless frameworks, such as CloudFormation, Lambda, and Step Functions
  • Security & Vulnerability Management
    • Experience with security scanning and analysis tools, such as SAST, Snyk, EchoAI, and AI-assisted penetration testing tools
    • Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications and cloud infrastructure
