This full-time remote position at PROMIS Neurodevelopmental seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using culturally sensitive and evidence-based practices tailored to each clientโ€™s unique circumstances.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to accurately identify client needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that target therapeutic goals.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring coordinated care by actively participating in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Connect clients to vital community resources, providing crisis intervention and case management support as needed to ensure their access to comprehensive services.
  • Document clinical interactions and treatment steps meticulously, respecting ethical and legal standards to maintain the integrity of client records.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge through workshops, training sessions, and relevant educational opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients experiencing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and those undergoing significant life transitions. Many clients may be dealing with trauma, requiring you to apply trauma-informed care principles effectively. Your expertise will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and achieve recovery.

Qualifications
  • Active LCSW license in California issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Demonstrated competence in providing therapeutic support to children and youth is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to effectively engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a detox center or substance use treatment setting provides a strong advantage.
