What You'll Doย
As a Financial Aid Advisor, you will serve as a trusted resource for students and families by:ย
- Guiding students through the financial aid process, from FAFSA completion to award packagingย
- Reviewing and analyzing financial aid applications to determine eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aidย
- Awarding and adjusting aid packages in compliance with all applicable regulations and policiesย
- Counseling students and families through individual appointments, workshops, phone calls, email, and virtual toolsย
- Managing verification files, resolving discrepancies, and submitting required correctionsย
- Evaluating special and unusual circumstances with sound judgment and empathyย
- Collaborating across departments to support enrollment, retention, and student satisfactionย
- Presenting at orientations, information sessions, and student forumsย
- Supporting exit counseling for students who withdraw or graduateย
- Contributing to team initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and university eventsย

Requirements
What You Bringย
We're looking for someone who leads with service, communicates clearly, and values precision.ย
Qualifications and Experienceย ย
- 2-3 years of experience working directly with students and families in Financial Aid ย ย
- Working knowledge of Title IV financial aid regulations ย ย
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredย
