What We Need:

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Design Public team. 

The Senior Sales Support Specialist will serve as a critical liaison between the sales team, trade partners, and other departments within the organization. This role is accountable for overseeing the full sales process, facilitating collaboration with the field sales team, and cultivating robust, enduring relationships with trade partners in designated regions. 

What You Will Do:

  • Project management for the teams’ larger projects along various key points, timelines and through critical departments
  • Provide on-boarding and continuing education training assistance for new members
  • Coordinate mentor meetings and activities while providing guidance to new mentors
  • Proof work of newer members prior to external responses
  • Primary support for hosting & touring guests at dealer visits, local trainings/events, blitzes & virtual engagements
  • Lead intern project coordination and supervision
  • Partner with field sales and trade partners in assigned territory to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Provide sales support and serve as the key point of contact for all pre-sale activities, questions, and needs
  • Support and track projects: Execute proposals, quotes, renderings, etc.
  • Drive utilization of new products and programs sales by training trade partners.
  • Facilitate, qualify, and track inbound and outbound lead generation activities as well as the identification of potential prospects
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive trends to make recommendations on products and programs to trade partners.
  • Support sales through creation and maintenance of project presentation materials
  • Actively track all activities within CRM; maintain pertinent sales data and reports for analysis
  • Primary sales support delivery methods will be virtual including phone, emails, and webinars.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization. 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience required; 4 years of experience preferred.

What You’re Good At:

  • Demonstrated history of proficiency in sales support, time management, project planning, and finding customer solutions required.
  • Demonstrated history of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to creating and delivering presentations to a wide audience, writing reports, meeting facilitation, and ability to solicit participation in the exchange of information required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability in isolating the causes from symptoms, involving others as appropriate, and researching and implementing solutions that show sound judgement required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business concepts and ability to navigate in a complex organization required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, establish and leverage professional network, and share resources cross-functionally required.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, effectively guide a team, and make decisions within the framework of the organization’s strategic intent required.
