This is a remote position, allowing you to deliver critical support to clients at our Detox Center from the comfort of your own home. Our organization utilizes advanced telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless communication and efficient documentation. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, counselors, and support staff, all dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered care.

• Perform thorough mental health assessments, taking into account clients' histories, presenting issues, and risk assessments to establish treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal growth, enabling clients to navigate recovery challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatric professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches, enhancing the effectiveness of care provided at the Detox Center.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, employing de-escalation techniques and coordinating referrals for higher levels of care as situations dictate.
• Deliver psychoeducation to both clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to adhere to regulatory and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development offerings to continuously enhance service delivery and therapeutic practices.
• Stay informed about state and federal regulations, ethical guidelines, and industry best practices pertinent to social work in substance use recovery.

Our primary client population consists of individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and your role as an LCSW will be vital in addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their recovery journey by providing support, resources, and therapeutic interventions that foster resilience and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within mental health or addiction treatment settings.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Expertise in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy, employing various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with diverse client groups.
• Sound judgment and ethical decision-making skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EHR systems.

• Experience specifically in detox or substance use treatment environments is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with telehealth practices and remote patient engagement.
• Familiarity with community resources supporting individuals in recovery.
