We are currently seeking a talented and relationship-focused licensed Architect to join our growing Health & Science team in Tampa, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architectural professional who is passionate about healthcare design, client engagement, mentorship, and contributing to the continued expansion of a nationally recognized practice.

You will:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective healthcare and science clients
  • Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and coordination of complex architectural projects across multiple phases
  • Prepare and oversee construction documents, specifications, presentations, project deliverables and proposals
  • Guide projects from concept development through construction administration
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, technically sound solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and support the growth of emerging professionals
  • Participate in quality control reviews, site visits, and construction observations to help ensure design intent is achieved
  • Support project planning efforts, including scope development, schedules and resource coordination
  • Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented culture

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, allowing a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work.

To Thrive in This Role, You'll Bring

  • A professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of professional architectural experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience with project management and finance
  • Active architectural licensure in good standing
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience contributing to projects across multiple states and diverse market sectors, including healthcare, science & technology, and corporate/commercial facilities
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methodologies and technical documentation practices
  • Knowledge of zoning regulations, life safety standards, healthcare-related codes and permitting requirements across various jurisdictions
  • Ability to navigate complex technical and design challenges professionally with sound judgement and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience contributing to large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with sustainable and universal design principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship management skills
