Job description

Job Title: Logistics Support Location: Commerce City, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities • Support the Material Master Data Governance team by creating material IDs used on purchase orders for tracking materials throughout the process. • Gather technical specifications, research manufacturer part numbers, complete required forms, and submit them to the Material Master team for review and entry into SAP. • Manage large projects involving hundreds of new material IDs for power plants, wind farms, and solar farms. • Respond to numerous emails requesting material IDs, researching technical details, validating information from multiple sources, and creating documentation. • Collaborate closely with logistics managers, engineers, storekeepers, warehouse personnel, vendors, and manufacturers. • Support internal business customers including Energy Supply personnel, engineers, storekeepers, warehouse personnel, and logistics teams. • Visit warehouses, storerooms, or power plants and work directly with site personnel when necessary. • Follow established SAP processes, documentation requirements, and approval procedures. • Provide timely follow-up on approvals and communications to ensure project timelines are met. • Support the team in large-scale projects involving technical research, inventory management, and documentation accuracy.

Requirements • Strong research skills with the ability to gather technical specifications efficiently. • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and research. • Excellent computer and internet research skills, including experience with Excel, especially sorting and VLOOKUPs; SAP experience is a plus. • Experience with materials, inventory, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions is advantageous. • Knowledge of technical specifications and vendor research processes. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Analytical thinking and attention to detail. • Persistence in researching and validating technical information. • Ability to collaborate effectively with requestors, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams. • A couple of years of relevant experience is helpful but not required; mindset, research ability, and eagerness to learn are prioritized. • No specific certifications or education are required; relevant certifications are a plus. • SAP experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of materials/inventory processes are a plus. • Experience researching manufacturer and vendor information is beneficial.
