MEP Drafter And Designer

This is a remote position. We are hiring a skilled MEP Drafter and Designer to join our remote team, specializing in preparing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings for USA-based residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, with Revit proficiency being a plus. A strong understanding of US MEP codes, building codes, and MEP coordination is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop MEP (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (as needed).
  • Prepare permit sets and construction documentation compliant with US codes, client standards and local building regulations.
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams for integrated design.
  • Review and incorporate redlines and markups from engineers.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in remote coordination meetings with US clients and consultants.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to standard naming conventions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
