This full-time position is remote, allowing mental health therapists to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of their own home while adapting to the needs of our patients. Regular Monday to Friday work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM provide a structured schedule, although some flexibility may be required based on patient appointments and emergencies. Our collaborative approach ensures that all staff members are engaged and supported in their roles.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs, subsequently creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to aid clients in managing their mental health challenges.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups that address various mental health topics, fostering a community atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, devising immediate strategies to help clients regain their stability.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and accessible community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance personal and organizational knowledge.
• Stay current with research advancements in mental health therapy, integrating them into practice to optimize patient outcomes.

Your role will significantly impact a diverse client population, from children to adults facing various mental health issues. Each therapist is tasked with tailoring interventions to suit the unique needs of their clients, helping them navigate challenges while fostering resilience and promoting recovery.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory for this role.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic interventions.
• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing impactful treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities essential for building therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to adhere to ethics and maintain professional boundaries while exercising sound judgment in complex situations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) software and general computer applications.
• A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is preferred, equipping candidates with the necessary skills to handle a range of therapeutic scenarios effectively.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, showcasing adeptness in managing diverse therapeutic dynamics.
