What does a remote software tester do?

As a remote software tester, your job is to provide quality assurance or QA for software. In this role, you work from home to identify bugs, test specific features, and support the documenting of any relevant information the programmers need to know about. Remote software testers often specialize in particular types of software, such as medical systems or video games. The basic duties are the same regardless of industry, but some companies may emphasize factors like reliability, user experience, or challenge above others.
