Software Verification Specialist

bioMerieux is looking for a Software Verification Specialist to join the LUMED software development team.

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous verification activities. This role involves designing and executing test strategies, developing automated and manual test cases, and collaborating closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects. The specialist plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting continuous improvement of verification practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and document software verification activities to ensure products meet functional requirements, quality standards, and organizational expectations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain functional test cases (manual and automated) to validate application behavior across different components and environments.
  • Implement and maintain automated test suites to support continuous testing, improve test coverage, and increase efficiency.
  • Analyze test results, clearly document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and effective retesting.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of test strategies, verification plans, and test documentation to ensure traceability and enable continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant certification or degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in software verification

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and verification practices
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Playwright and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code
