As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing a secure online therapy platform to enhance client interactions.
• Encourage clients to openly express their emotions, fostering a safe environment for self-reflection and insight development.
• Serve as an advocate for clients by helping them define personal and therapeutic goals, working collaboratively to achieve them.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, and create and implement effective, solution-focused treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Regularly monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies to meet each client’s evolving needs.

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults with low acuity levels, who have been carefully screened prior to booking therapy sessions. This ensures that you will be working with individuals who are ready for constructive engagement in the therapeutic process, allowing you to focus your expertise effectively. Additionally, you are empowered to select your preferred client demographics, ensuring a comfortable fit for both you and your clients.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full independent license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); note that limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Strong clinical judgment skills in evaluating mental health conditions, setting therapeutic goals, and recommending treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate and client-focused approach to therapy.
• Proficient computer skills, with the ability to navigate various digital tools and software.

Although not mandatory, prior experience in teletherapy, a solid understanding of telehealth platforms, and familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities will be advantageous in providing optimal care to our clients.

You will receive a competitive salary between USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your availability and the volume of clients served. Additional benefits include:
