Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools.
  • Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and incorporate client preferences.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group therapy modalities to empower clients in managing their mental health challenges.
  • Provide ongoing support and therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches as necessary to ensure effective treatment.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social services, to provide holistic care and necessary referrals.
  • Document all client interactions and progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Remain informed on current mental health research and trends to enhance treatment methodologies and improve client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. A strong understanding of various mental health conditions will enable you to provide culturally competent and effective treatment. You will be responsible for adapting therapy techniques to resonate with an assortment of backgrounds and circumstances, ensuring all clients feel understood and supported.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing your expertise in mental health interventions.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, cultural considerations in therapy, and evidence-based treatment methods.
  • Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
