Your focus as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be on individuals of various backgrounds and life experiences, many of whom will be seeking support for mental health challenges tied to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relational difficulties. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients build resilience, improve their mental health, and lead more fulfilling lives.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a capacity to build rapport easily with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families is preferred, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of diverse psychological needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to manage client information efficiently.
