• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health statuses, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social factors influencing their well-being.
• Provide psychotherapy targeting various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD, utilizing evidence-based practices that align with the unique needs of each patient.
• Develop, implement, and regularly modify patient-centered treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient feedback, ensuring they remain appropriate and effective.
• Engage in a collaborative care model by actively communicating and coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, and primary care physicians to streamline patient treatment.
• Monitor patient progress through consistent check-ins and therapy sessions, adjusting strategies as required to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Deliver educational support to patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain adherence to ethical standards, including confidentiality and informed consent, while staying abreast of state and federal regulations relevant to mental health care.

The primary patient population served at our detox center includes individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, frequently compounded by substance use disorders. As an LCSW, you will engage with a diverse client base, employing empathetic and culturally competent approaches that honor each patient’s unique experiences and backgrounds. Your role is crucial in helping patients reclaim their lives and restore their mental health.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services to individuals with diagnosed mental health conditions.
• Proven ability to develop effective therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in conducting patient assessments, designing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and relevant healthcare software for managing patient information efficiently.
• A strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatments, and the unique challenges faced by patients in recovery.

• Experience in detox or addiction treatment settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• Experience in a telehealth environment, particularly in mental health service delivery, will be an asset.
