We are hiring candidates for the role of Cloud Engineer (working remotely) for our client.

Our client is a global software services and solutions provider. Established in 1996, they deliver innovative technology solutions and services across multiple domains, in North America.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability generally required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education:

B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline strongly preferred.

Experience:

o 15+ years’ experience developing web and Windows desktop applications.

o 5+ years’ experience with Web UI technologies (e.g., CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax); with writing test cases at high level code coverage, and testing UI changes through code via automation framework (e.g., Selenium).

o Effectively leading teams and mentoring junior software engineers.

Technical Skills:

o Expertise in:

§ Domain Driven Design and application via modern microserve-based architecture;

§ SQL and/or NoSQL data stores; code review and acceptance processes to improve code quality; § Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques; § TFS, AzureDevOps, Visual Studio 2017 or 2019, and Git repository;

§ Containerization technology (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration); and,

§ Cloud architectures and services (AWS, Google, Azure). o Solid understanding of security issues and defensive programming techniques. o Demonstrated ability to translate written requirements into technical design specifications. · Certifications: AWS, Google, and/or Azure preferred.

· Reasoning Ability: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some limited standardization exists.

Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
