Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitor, execute, and support mainframe batch processing, resolving production issues to ensure system availability and performance.
  2. Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications by implementing fixes, supporting changes, and troubleshooting application defects.
  3. Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to support releases, incident resolution, and production stability.
  4. Develop and maintain operational documentation, support change management activities, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

8+ years of experience supporting enterprise mainframe environments with production support, batch processing, and application maintenance.

Technical Skills

IBM Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, DB2, z/OS, Batch Processing, Job Scheduling, Java
