About the Role:
The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains enterprise software applications while supporting and enhancing the City's portfolio of custom-developed business systems.

    • Or Associate's Degree with 6+ years of experience developing software using most of these technologies: C#, VB.NET, T-SQL, GIT, HTML5 & CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap
    • No College Degree, plus 8+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge/experience of object-oriented programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Working knowledge/experience of software development best practices, secure coding principles, software design patterns, and version control.
  • Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading software development projects from design through deployment.
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews and recommending technical solutions.
