LibLab is is recently acquired by Postman but we're an engineering company, by developers for developers. We provide a missing pillar of core internet infrastructure, and we hire people with a broad set of technical skills (and from a wide variety of backgrounds) to build that. We want people who are ready to take on some of the most challenging problems in the industry - from reliably handling millions of API requests per day, to architecting best-in class open-source SDKs and client libraries.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and maintain software using modern languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various programming
- languages and technologies.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and provide
- technical support when required.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, promoting best practices in software development.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and maintainable systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into our
- products where applicable.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and technical strategy of the company.
- Working on more complex project, cross teams, with much bigger impact
- Leading new initiatives end to end that have company impact
- Leadership experience - leading multiple teams of engineers
About You
You'll Be a Good Fit If you have:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong technical skills and experience working with developer tools and APIs.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including TypeScript (NodeJS).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Located in Austin, Texas, and willing to work in the office three times a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
- Have experienced managing and leading a team of engineers
Nice to have:
- Deep technical expertise in SDKs and Docs.
- Experience creating technical content, such as documentation and tutorials.
- Experience working in a distributed organization, and ability to collaborate with teams in different time zones and cultures.
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $210,000 to $263,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
