Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at our detox center in Silver Springs, Nevada. This full-time, remote position is ideal for an experienced and compassionate social worker who is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals undergoing substance detoxification and recovery. The LCSW will play a crucial role in providing counseling and support, leading clients towards successful reintegration into their communities.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to delivering comprehensive care that supports individuals struggling with addiction. Our detox center focuses on delivering high-quality treatment in a compassionate and supportive environment. We acknowledge the multifaceted nature of addiction, and our approach integrates science-backed interventions with a holistic understanding of our clients' emotional and social needs.

Work Environment

As a remote position, this role allows social workers to provide support while maintaining flexibility in their schedules. The LCSW will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team made up of medical professionals, addiction specialists, and peer support staff, all working towards the shared goal of enhancing the well-being of our clients. Regular check-ins via telehealth tools and virtual meetings will be essential components of this collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The LCSW will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the unique challenges and strengths of each client.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans that address both the psychological and social factors influencing clients' recovery processes.
  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions that focus on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and building resilience.
  • Coordinating with medical and nursing staff to ensure holistic care delivery, addressing potential comorbidities alongside addiction treatment.
  • Facilitating family meetings to improve communication and understanding, as well as to educate family members about the recovery process.
  • Documenting client progress, treatment interventions, and any relevant observations meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Staying informed about best practices and policies in addiction treatment and social work ethics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus is on individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, which can range from alcohol and opioids to stimulants. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and may face significant social and psychological challenges. Because the detox process can be intense and requires a sustainable support system, the LCSW will also engage families to foster a supportive environment for clients as they transition through treatment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a social work role, ideally within a substance addiction or geriatric setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health issues, addiction treatments, and community resources available to support recovery.
  • Exceptional counseling and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic engagement with clients.
  • Ability to use EHR systems and mainstream technology to manage client documentation and treatment notes effectively.
Preferred Experience

Experience in a detox or rehabilitation center setting where the candidate has worked directly with addiction treatment or mental health programs will be considered advantageous. Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Motivational Interviewing or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy greatly enhances this role's effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure health and well-being.
  • A retirement savings plan featuring employer-matching contributions, ensuring financial stability for the future.
  • A generous paid time off (PTO) policy and observed holiday pay, promoting work-life balance.
  • Professional liability insurance, safeguarding your practice.
  • Continuing education support, including training and conferences to enhance professional development.
Career Growth Opportunities

Gotham Enterprises Ltd supports your professional trajectory with opportunities for advancement within the organization. As you grow in your role, you will have the chance to take on leadership positions, provide training to junior staff, and contribute to the development of innovative programmatic approaches to patient care.
