• Conduct secure teletherapy sessions for individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, developing customized treatment plans that address their emotional and psychosocial challenges.
• Implement immediate crisis intervention strategies when necessary, demonstrating skillful management of urgent client situations to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Facilitate clients' access to community resources and support services, guiding them in navigating external systems that enhance their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous electronic client records, documenting all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create coordinated care strategies that encapsulate the diverse needs of clients.
• Educate clients on effective coping mechanisms, self-care techniques, and strategies for improving their mental health, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through research and training to stay updated on best practices in clinical social work and teletherapy.

Your role will focus on supporting clients who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges, specifically those in a detox setting. This may include individuals dealing with substance use disorders, emotional distress, or transitional issues stemming from detoxification. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them through this challenging time, helping them build a foundation for lasting recovery.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is required.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is essential.
• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical social work, particularly within the mental health or substance use treatment environments, is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology is a must, along with strong communication skills suited for a remote working environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards in therapeutic settings.
• Ability to work autonomously, managing your schedule to accommodate client appointments across various time zones.

• Experience providing teletherapy or virtual mental health support.
