Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of mental health challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed clinical assessments to understand individual student needs and collaborating on tailored treatment plans that align with their specific educational and emotional goals.
  • Implementing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), promoting healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation among students.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA and other relevant regulatory standards, ensuring all records are up to date and secure.

  • Participating actively in case consultations and professional development meetings to improve treatment methodologies and to share insights that enhance the care experience.
  • Offering educational workshops for students and families, providing them with valuable information about mental health resources and strategies for support.
  • Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health research and integrating these findings into your practice for enhanced patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary population you will serve includes school-aged children and adolescents dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges. These may range from anxiety, depression, and relationship issues to learning difficulties and trauma-related concerns. Your role is essential in addressing these issues early, fostering resilience, and promoting a supportive environment for academic success.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least three years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy in educational or community settings.
  • Proficient knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to USD 70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
