Solutions Architect - Palantir Foundry
Hybrid | Full-Time
About Navaide
Navaide partners with federal clients to deliver mission-focused solutions across financial management, ERP, and digital transformation. We bring deep domain expertise, practical execution, and a people-first culture to complex government environments.

Our mission is rooted in agility, scalability, and a commitment to exceeding expectations, ensuring impactful results for our clients and communities.
How You Will Make an Impact
As the Solution Architect - Palantir Foundry, you will lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms, analytics environments, and data integration architectures for federal clients, with a focus on Palantir Foundry solution architecture and interoperability with existing enterprise data tools. You will serve as a technical leader across pre-sales, delivery, and innovation efforts-partnering with Capability Leads, client stakeholders, and delivery teams to bring data-driven solutions to life.
Navaide is leading the charge in modernizing data infrastructure and analytics for the public sector. As a Solution Architect focused on Big Data, you'll be at the center of driving innovation across federal missions-designing and implementing scalable data platforms that unlock actionable insight and operational efficiency. If you thrive at the intersection of technical excellence and mission impact, and want to help shape the future of government data systems, this is your opportunity.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Architecture & Delivery
  • Design end-to-end big data architectures across cloud implementations of Foundry, including data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, and analytics platforms; apply Foundry's open architecture principles to ensure interoperability with existing IT systems and meet organizational and compliance requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Guide the selection and implementation of modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Delta Lake, Apache NiFi, Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and Magritte connectors, etc.).
  • Lead architecture reviews, data governance strategy, and performance optimization, including proper use of Foundry namespaces, projects, organizations, and security markings.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to government clients on data modernization strategies.
  • Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
  • Support delivery teams in resolving complex data integration and transformation challenges, including decomposing use cases and requirements into Foundry implementation components and identifying solution patterns and workarounds where needed.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Capability Leads, Delivery Managers, and Engineers to ensure solution alignment and technical excellence.
  • Support proposal development, whitepapers, and R&D efforts under Navaide's innovation initiatives (e.g., Spark Labs, Foundry AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform)).
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.

Relevant Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience architecting and implementing big data solutions in complex environments; experience with enterprise data platforms such as Palantir Foundry is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least three of the following: Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Hadoop, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache NiFi, Delta Lake, Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles, including Foundry's ontology-based data model and delivering reliable data products from source to discovery.
  • Experience working with federal agencies or large-scale enterprise data environments.
  • Ability to lead technical engagements and present solutions to executive stakeholders.
  • Eligibility to obtain US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DoD or Navy-specific data systems or environments.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST) and Foundry's shared security responsibility model and privacy and civil liberty (PCL) standards.
  • SAFe, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake certifications; Palantir Foundry Solution Architect Associate Certification is highly desired.
  • Experience integrating big data platforms with AI/ML toolchains and predictive analytics, including Foundry's AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) and ontology-based machine learning workflows.

Travel
Up to 10% travel, depending on environment cutovers, stakeholder design sessions, and validation/test events.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or advanced certifications are preferred, including the Palantir Foundry Solution Architect Associate Certification.
