Job Title: Product Manager Location-Type: Remote (EST or CST time zone preferred) Start Date: ASAP (target on or before 8/24) Duration: Contract, 6 months (potential Contract-to-Hire) Compensation Range: $55-66/hr on W2 ONLY (no c2c) Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the development and enhancement of customer-facing research platforms and workflow solutions, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver measurable value in an Agile environment. Job Summary Partner with product leadership to execute roadmaps and priorities aligned with customer and business needs Serve as Product Owner for assigned initiatives, leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives Create user stories, define product requirements, and manage backlog priorities in collaboration with engineering and design teams Coordinate and assign work to business analysts, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and tracked across sprint cycles Prepare and present sprint demo presentations in conjunction with the scrum master Maintain and document roadmaps for new features and functions across multiple development groups Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, content operations, marketing, customer support, and offshore development resources Minimum Requirements: 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a related role Demonstrated experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and managing product backlogs in Agile environments Experience managing and coordinating with offshore development teams across multiple workstreams Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms Experience delivering customer-facing platform or software products Basic familiarity with STM (Scientific, Technical, and Medical) publishing concepts, including an understanding of journals and article-based content structures Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Figma for design collaboration and review Familiarity with Sitecore or similar CMS platforms (training available) Background in online research, content discovery, metadata, search, or indexing concepts Experience with API integrations, including SSO workflows Prior work in healthcare, academic research, or publishing-adjacent industries
