Position Overview

We areseekinga dynamic and technically adeptBusiness IntelligenceManager to lead our Information Delivery Group (IDG) withinAccordants Managed Services (AMS)practice. This team designs, develops, and delivers financial and operational reporting solutions, while supporting underlying data architecture, integration, and migration efforts that enable data-driven decision-making for clients and internal stakeholders.

The Manager will oversee a team of Report Writers, BI Developers, and Analysts, ensuring thetimelydelivery ofaccurate, actionable reporting across multiple ERP platforms, including Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, and Acumatica. This individual will balance hands-on technical leadership with strong people and project management, ensuring excellence in both delivery and client experience.


The ideal candidate isboth strategic and detail-oriented,capable of designingand implementinghigh-impact reporting solutions while mentoring a growing team andmaintainingdeeppartnershipswith internal and external stakeholders.


This role will be a hands-on role. In the first 6 months, the Manager will lead delivery of our Power BI Reporting product, including report development,processand platform establishment, and team Power BI training.


Key Responsibilities

Team & Project Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of report writers, SQL developers, and BI specialists to deliver exceptional results.
  • Establish priorities,allocateresources, and ensure on-time completion of client and internal projects.
  • Implement andmonitorprocesses for quality assurance, documentation, and version control across all deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the Information Delivery Group.

Technical & Solution Leadership

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of custom financial and operational reports using:
    • Sage Intacct (Financial Report Writer, ICRW, Custom Report Wizard, Dashboards)
    • Sage 300 CRE (Crystal Reports, Office Connector)
    • Acumatica BI tools
    • Power BICustomer Embeddedand Power BI TMDL
  • Lead architectural direction for data replication, SQL integration, multi-ERP data strategies, and data migration approaches, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Ensure alignment of report outputs with businessobjectives, compliance requirements, and month/quarter-end cycles.
  • Drive innovation in reporting through automation, data visualization, and advanced analytics.

Stakeholder & Client Partnership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and client partnersregardinginformation delivery needs.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to support ERP implementations, upgrades, and data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and reporting continuity.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Business Operations leaders to define priorities, scope projects, and align reporting solutions with organizational goals.
  • Provideconsultative guidance on best practices for data governance, report design, and performance optimization.
  • Support client engagements by overseeing custom development requests, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.

Operational & Strategic Management

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity, report accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with AMS leadership and the Information DeliveryProductManagerto align reporting strategies with broader businessobjectivesand technologyroadmaps.
  • Contribute to capacity planning, hiring, and onboarding within the Information Delivery Group.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline reporting, data migration, and integration processes through reusable frameworks, templates, and automation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial or business intelligence reporting, including3+ years ina leadershipor managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, or comparable ERP systems.
  • Strongproficiencywith SQL, Crystal Reports, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills, including experience in client-facing environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment.


Preferred:

  • Experience managing teams serving clients in the construction or professional services industries.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct platform services (Smart Rules, Smart Events, Custom Objects).
  • Experience with Report-as-Code concepts like Power BI TMDL or other modern tools that utilizeyaml/JSON for report development.
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar) administration, including capacity management, cost optimization, security/governance, and CI/CD.
  • Experience leadingcustomer-facingdataproduct delivery, reportautomationor data integration initiatives.
  • Experience with team-oriented, AI-Driven BI Development especially with a specific AI-first BI tool.
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP data migration efforts, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, orarelatedfield.
