We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Intercare Health Services. This full-time position will allow you to conduct virtual mental health treatments and support clients in their recovery journeys while working from the comfort of your home. As a licensed professional, you will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing counseling services primarily through video conferencing using our Simple Practice platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and treatment goals.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and aligned with the best practices in mental health care.
  • Provide ongoing counseling services to clients via video conferencing, ensuring a consistent and supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients and document sessions using our Simple Practice platform.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions to discuss case progress and share effective strategies.
  • Assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges, utilizing coping strategies and resources for improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Intercare Health Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, teens, and couples facing various mental health challenges. The clients you serve may struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, and it is your duty to foster an environment that encourages healing and growth. Our supportive approach ensures each client feels heard and respected while addressing their unique needs.

Qualifications
  • Must possess valid licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in New Jersey.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong skills in treatment planning and mental health counseling are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using telehealth technology for virtual appointments.
  • Experience in remote or telehealth settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
