As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individualized, ethical, and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via video conferencing tools.
• Tailoring solution-based treatment methodologies to meet the diverse needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Developing personalized treatment plans grounded in thorough assessments and evaluations of each client’s mental health status and life circumstances.
• Facilitating insightful discussions that help clients understand their emotions, relationships, and behaviors, thereby empowering them in their healing process.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes, while teaching clients effective coping mechanisms and life skills.

Our practice primarily serves stable, low acuity adults who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relational issues. To thrive in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No disciplinary actions or limitations on licensure, and a commitment to ethical best practices in mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate disposition that connects effectively with clients.
• Strong comfort with technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

• Previous experience working remotely in a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for diverse adult populations.
