This full-time LCSW position offers remote work flexibility, connecting with students in various school settings through virtual platforms. You will communicate with students, educators, and families to provide necessary interventions and support. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments utilizing interviews, observations, and thorough reviews of medical records to gauge the emotional and social factors influencing each student’s recovery and integration.
• Provide individual and family counseling, addressing concerns related to adjustment issues, emotional distress, and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to formulate individualized treatment plans that effectively encompass each student’s unique psychosocial needs.
• Guide students in accessing community resources and support systems that promote their well-being, including vocational counseling, housing assistance, and support groups.
• Engage in discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions back to home or other care settings, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders involved.
• Provide educational workshops and informational sessions to students and families, equipping them with knowledge about available community resources and post-rehabilitation services.

You will primarily work with students facing a range of challenges, including emotional disturbances, family transitions, and disabilities. Your support plays a crucial role in their academic success and personal development, helping them build resilience and access necessary therapeutic resources. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Solid understanding of mental health issues impacting school-aged children, including adjustment disorders, grief, and emotional coping mechanisms.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling and assessments.

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or school-based setting is highly preferred, with a focus on working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with community resources relevant to youth and family support.
• Experience utilizing therapeutic modalities appropriate for school-aged clients, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, supplemented by a generous sign-on bonus.
