Job description

Tactica Solutions is seeking an experienced Targeting Analyst Expert to support the U.S. Army INSCOM APOGEE program in Springfield, VA. This is a high-impact opportunity to apply advanced GEOINT targeting expertise in direct support of critical Army and national intelligence requirements.
In this role, you will bring deep knowledge of target development, intelligence research and analysis, GEOINT tradecraft, and the integration of information from multiple sources to solve complex targeting challenges. You will work side-by-side with analysts and partners across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, producing clear, actionable intelligence through well-crafted assessments, reports, graphics, briefings, and multimedia presentations that senior leaders rely on.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead expert-level all-source, geospatial, and targeting analysis throughout the Joint Targeting Cycle in support of operational requirements.
  • Oversee and execute basic, intermediate, and advanced target development in accordance with JP 3-60, CJCSI 3370.01D, and applicable mission guidance.
  • Integrate the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and intelligence support to the Military Decision-Making Process.
  • Conduct target research, geospatial analysis, remote-sensing analysis, photogrammetric analysis, and collection support to develop mission-focused assessments.
  • Use GEOINT and targeting tools, including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, and ArcGIS, to exploit data and produce target intelligence products.
  • Identify intelligence gaps, recommend collection strategies, evaluate reporting, and incorporate new information into target development packages.
  • Prepare, review, and present expert-level target folders, intelligence assessments, written reports, graphics, and multimedia briefings.
  • Ensure targeting products are accurate, complete, properly sourced, and compliant with applicable standards, security requirements, and quality controls.
  • Coordinate targeting activities and findings with analysts, collection managers, planners, and Intelligence Community and Department of Defense partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of program and mission requirements.

Education & Experience

  • MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience; OR BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 15 years of CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience; OR HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 20 years of Intelligence Analysis experience

Clearance

  • Current/active TS/SCI security clearance w/ SSB

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience should include at least 5 years working supporting the Joint targeting cycle
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and supporting intelligence analytic techniques; Understanding of Intelligence Support /Role in the MDMP
  • Expert knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS
  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques
  • Experience in overseeing and executing target development standard as defined in JP 3-60 and CJCSI 3370.01D.

Core Competencies

  • Expert level research and writing skills

Experience

  • Relevant experience should be in the field of remote sensing, Geospatial analysis, all-source analysis.
  • Training and expert knowledge in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development.

Preferred Qualification:

  • GPC-II Imagery Certification
  • Experience with commercial visualization software
  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools.
  • Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums
  • Completion of related Army (or service equivalent) 35/350G, 12Y/125D, or 35F/350F military occupational specialty school

Location: Springfield, VA

Physical Requirement:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
