Join a remote engineering team delivering innovative digital commerce experiences for global brands and emerging ventures. In this senior role, you'll take ownership of building sophisticated Shopify solutions, from custom themes to purpose-built applications. You'll translate polished UI/UX designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect storefront experiences while ensuring strong performance, scalability, and accessibility. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical ownership across integrations, architecture, and platform optimization. You'll collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and fellow engineers to deliver complete solutions from concept through launch. Accountabilities
- Lead the development of custom Shopify themes from the ground up, translating UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect storefront experiences.
- Architect, develop, and maintain custom Shopify applications tailored to specific client and business requirements.
- Optimize Shopify storefronts for speed, performance, SEO, responsiveness, and scalability while following modern engineering best practices.
