Job description

See something that should exist? Build it.
See a better way? Do it.

At Terrific, every role directly impacts how we grow from product to revenue to customer experience. We’re building the next generation of social commerce through live shopping powered by real-time data and AI.

And we believe customer data should belong to the brands who earn it — not third-party platforms.

E-Commerce / PLG Commercial (SaaS + Shopify)

Terrific • Remote, Americas • Contract

About Terrific

Terrific Live is a social commerce platform that helps retailers, eCommerce brands, and media groups grow revenue through live, interactive, social-native shopping experiences on their own properties.

Our platform connects audiences and presenters in real time — streaming across Latin America, Europe, and Israel — and turns content into measurable commerce.

We power conversion directly inside owned channels — turning traffic into transactions and first-party data.

The Role

Terrific needs a PLG-oriented commercial operator who understands how e-commerce brands actually buy SaaS.

This role owns the Shopify ecosystem, marketplace motion, and mid-market e-commerce segment — where deals are won through product, distribution, and conversion loops, not just sales cycles.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales and Product: driving revenue while shaping how customers discover, adopt, and convert inside the product.

What You’ll DoRevenue Ownership (Mid-Market & PLG)
  • Own pipeline and revenue across e-commerce brands (primarily Shopify ecosystem)
  • Close $20K–$200K deals independently with DTC brands and mid-market companies
  • Convert product usage, trials, and inbound into paying customers
PLG & Conversion
  • Define and improve PLG conversion loops: free trial → activation → paid
  • Partner with Product to optimize onboarding, in-product conversion, and monetization
  • Analyze drop-off points and continuously improve conversion rates
Ecosystem & Distribution
  • Own Shopify App Store and ecosystem presence (and adjacent platforms)
  • Build relationships with Shopify partners, agencies, and commerce enablement players
  • Drive inbound through integrations, partnerships, and marketplace visibility
Customer Understanding
  • Understand how e-commerce brands evaluate and buy technology
  • Translate Terrific into clear ROI: conversion lift, AOV, engagement, revenue
  • Identify friction in the buyer journey — and remove i
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience selling SaaS to e-commerce brands
  • Deep understanding of Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento ecosystems
  • Experience working in or alongside PLG environments (self-serve, trials, in-product conversion)
  • Track record of closing mid-market deals ($20K–$200K range) independently
  • Strong commercial instincts — you think in revenue, not activity
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product to influence growth and conversion
  • Clear communicator who can simplify technical value into business outcomes
Preferred Background
  • Shopify Partners ecosystem or marketplace-driven SaaS companies
  • Commerce enablement platforms or retail tech
  • Experience selling to or working with DTC brands
  • Mid-market SaaS sales (not only enterprise)
  • Exposure to product-led growth environments and metrics
Why Terrific
  • Own a critical growth channel at the intersection of PLG and sales
  • Direct impact on revenue through both product and commercial motion
  • Work on a product tied directly to conversion and transaction value
  • High autonomy in a fast-moving, global team
  • Opportunity to define how Terrific wins in e-commerce at scale
Success Looks Like
  • You build a strong pipeline within the Shopify ecosystem quickly
  • You close your first deals within ~30-60 days
  • You improve trial-to-paid conversion through product and process changes
  • You drive consistent revenue at 3–5x cost within ~6 months
Required:
  • Deep experience in at least one of Terrific’s three commercial pillars — eCommerce, Marketing, or Media — and enough fluency across the other two to contribute credibly from day 1.
  • Terrific operates as a global company, and English is our primary business language. As such, all roles require fluency in written and spoken English.

Be part of the change that’s quietly reshaping how people discover and buy online.
