Position Overview

Positively Living Counseling Services is seeking passionate and skilled licensed mental health therapists for full-time, remote positions. Our aim is to provide exceptional mental health care through evidence-based practices in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while benefiting from a strong virtual support system. Although your primary workspace will be remote, you will also have opportunities to participate in face-to-face meetings and collaborative case consultations at our outpatient office in Everett as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patients’ concerns and needs, leading to the creation of effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy—while addressing a diverse range of mental health issues.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups aimed at community building and addressing shared mental health challenges face by our clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated, holistic care for our patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective responses to client needs.
• Educate clients on their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with professional and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Actively engage in professional development through attending case consultations and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. We aim to create an inclusive environment that can address the needs of diverse patient populations, including various age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A valid Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• Deep understanding of mental health conditions, effective treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy is essential, particularly with diverse populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries, with sound judgment in clinical decision-making.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and familiarization with technological applications related to therapy and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in leading support groups and providing psychoeducational workshops.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities or certifications that enhance treatment options.
• Prior experience in outpatient settings that emphasizes a team-oriented approach to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
