• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine each student's mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support through various modalities, including individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress consistently, adjusting treatment strategies as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Perform crisis intervention services, including risk assessments for suicide and self-harm, and devise immediate coping strategies to assist students in distress.
• Effectively collaborate with school staff, including teachers and school administrators, to create a supportive network around students, fostering a team approach to mental health care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education to remain current with research, trends, and innovative therapeutic techniques in social work.

This role focuses on culturally diverse populations, primarily serving school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Candidates should be sensitive to the unique experiences of different backgrounds and able to provide inclusive, client-centered care that respects the individual needs of each student.

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• Active Pennsylvania license (LCSW) to practice independently in mental health counseling.
• At least two years of experience working in mental health settings, preferably with children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and the ability to connect with students and families.
• Adeptness in using technology and digital tools for remote service delivery.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

• Experience working within school settings or with educational professionals is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based treatment methods.
• Previous experience with crisis intervention and emergency response in a mental health context.
