Since 1903, Strategic Financial Group (SFG), a MassMutual firm, has been a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management serving individuals and families in Houston. We specialize in goals-based wealth management — retirement, education, legacy, and life-goal planning — through tailored investment advice and guidance.

Our Financial Advisors build lasting relationships with clients, helping them pursue the life they envision, backed by advisory teams dedicated to their unique needs. We believe trust is built through transparency, and our advisors have access to deep investment insights and integrated banking solutions to serve clients well.

  • Build and grow a client base through referrals, networking, and proactive outreach — with support transitioning or growing an existing book
  • Stay current on financial planning tools, strategies, and industry trends
  • Leverage SFG's full suite of resources — planning, product, marketing, and compliance support — to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients

  • 3+ years of experience in wealth management, with a track record of managing client portfolios and driving business growth
  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or Series 63 & 65) registrations
  • Life & Health Insurance license (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong expertise in finance, investments, and retirement planning strategies
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Additional certifications such as CFP or CRPC
  • Demonstrated ability to drive lead generation and balance investment management, client acquisition, and sales activity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated

Featured Benefits

  • Competitive payout structure with support for advisors transitioning an existing book
  • Access to in-house planning, product, marketing, and compliance resources
  • Licensing & Certification Support
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • 401(k)
