The role requires strong communication skills, comfort with technology, and current RN licensure. Remote Sentara RNs play a vital role in expanding access to healthcare services and improving patient outcomes from a distance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Sentara RN?

Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is essential. Outstanding communication, self-motivation, and organizational skills help build patient trust and manage care effectively from a distance. These skills ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual healthcare environment.

What are the most common challenges faced by Remote Sentara RNs, and how can they be overcome?
