About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our North American Field Delivery team and lead concurrent implementations of our integrated administrative solutions for higher education. In this role you will manage complex, high-visibility projects, which include SaaS and cloud transformation that require strong leadership, coordination across multiple stakeholders, and a balance of technical and functional expertise.

Where you will make an impact

  • Lead multiple projects through all phases of the Ellucian Implementation Methodology, from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and close, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, client stakeholders, and peers.
  • Apply project management disciplines-quality, risk, resource, and change management-while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Clearly communicate plans, roles, milestones, and constraints to all stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and lead proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Drive team status meetings, track dependencies, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership updates with clear, concise project status summaries.
  • Negotiate trade-offs across time, cost, and scope while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through challenges, mitigating risks and ensuring alignment.
  • Build team cohesiveness through leadership, mentoring, and motivating team members.

What you will bring

  • Strong experience in leading CRM or ERP SaaS implementation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage financial and resource forecasts, ensuring project plans remain accurate throughout the lifecycle.
  • Track record of driving customer satisfaction and accurate revenue recognition through timely reviews of time sheets, expense reports, and billing documents.
  • Experience leading projects in a matrix-management environment.
  • Ability to partner with the Customer Relations team, providing expertise during the sales cycle and demonstrating the value of project management services.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding less-experienced Project Managers.
  • Certifications in cloud and project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, etc.).
  • Higher education industry experience preferred, but NOT required.
  • Familiarity with higher education processes is a plus but NOT required.
