The Senior Software Engineer acts as a high-leverage technical leader, protecting Zone against long-term technical and business costs. This role handles high-stakes ambiguity and complexity, ensuring that as Zone scales its AI-native platform, the underlying architecture remains scalable, testable, and aligned with global financial standards.

This role owns the technical delivery of complex product modules and reports to an Engineering Manager. As a force multiplier for the team, the Senior Software Engineer collaborates with Product, Architecture, and FinOps leads to turn vague business requirements into high-integrity technical plans. The scope includes defining patterns for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

This is a distinctive opportunity to lead the evolution of "Agentic Finance." This role is not just about writing code; it is about engineering the systems that allow autonomous AI agents to perform high-consequence financial tasks with 100% reliability.

What You'll Do:
  • Architects and delivers complex, high-value features across the Zone platform, ensuring all solutions are scalable, observable, and aligned with NetSuite SuiteCloud constraints.
  • Leads the integration of AI as a force multiplier, choosing the right AI workflows for implementation and debugging to improve team throughput without compromising quality.
  • Protects system integrity by identifying technical tradeoffs early and choosing designs that reduce long-term complexity and maintenance overhead.
  • Decomposes vague requirements into staged execution plans that reduce risk and improve team-wide delivery predictability.
