Bright Hope Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team as a full-time remote professional. This position offers a flexible remote work setting with a typical workweek from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Although primarily remote, our outpatient office in Cape Coral serves as a hub for clinical collaboration and team meetings. • Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments and interventions for individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and appropriate referrals.
• Utilize evidence-based crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate tense situations, employing methodologies that prioritize client safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary to safely manage crises and protect clients.
• Provide ongoing follow-up care to clients, including the development of personalized treatment plans and guidance for further support.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development to enhance crisis counseling skills, engaging in workshops and training opportunities related to trauma-informed care.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bright Hope, you will work primarily with senior clients navigating various challenges, including grief, anxiety, depression, and transitional life stages. Our tailored approach recognizes the unique experiences and cultural contexts of older adults, ensuring that therapy sessions reflect their individual needs. By fostering trust and open communication, you will empower clients to explore their emotions and develop healthier coping strategies.

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of two years of recent experience providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling, specifically to individuals in acute need.
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, preferably with a focus on geriatric populations.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.

• Experience in addiction counseling or interventions is a definite advantage.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and remote counseling tools to deliver effective therapy.
• Additional certifications in crisis intervention or relevant specialties are desirable.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, with the potential for salary adjustments as skills and contributions advance.
