We are seeking a seasoned Senior Professional Services Consultant to join the Progress Federal Solutions consulting team as a trusted technical advisor. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of hands‑on database experience, a strong foundation in enterprise data management, and the versatility to support Progress Software solutions across integration, search, analytics, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities, partnering closely with customers to modernize and optimize mission‑critical data platforms.

In This Role, You Will
  • Partner with U.S. Government customers as a trusted technical advisor to assess current‑state data platforms and define modernization roadmaps.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable architectures using Progress Software solutions across data management, integration, search, and analytics.
  • Lead hands‑on delivery from proof‑of‑concept through production, including installation, configuration, automation, and operational hardening.
  • Build and optimize APIs and data pipelines to support mission applications, including event‑driven and streaming patterns where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot complex customer issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers; provide root‑cause analysis and remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders, engineering, and product teams to translate mission needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Develop implementation artifacts (architecture diagrams, runbooks, deployment guides) and deliver knowledge transfer to customer teams.
  • Mentor teammates and contribute reusable patterns, accelerators, and best practices to improve delivery quality and consistency.
  • Support emerging AI‑enabled use cases (e.g., semantic search, RAG) by helping customers operationalize prototypes with appropriate evaluation and governance.

Base Salary Range: $140,250 - $173,250
