Job description

Data Processing amp; Spatial Metrics Analyst
Remote | Secret Clearance Eligible

If you value the mission and want to apply your data analysis skills to improve warehouse utilization and operational decision-making across DLA Distribution, while working for a company that supports its people and stands behind its mission, we would love to talk.

Why This Role Exists
The work we do has real impact, and the people behind it matter just as much.

D amp;G Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotation amp; Spatial Metrics Analyst to support the Defense Logistics Agency Warehouse Utilization initiative within the Supply, Storage, and Distribution portfolio. This role supports large-scale warehouse analytics by annotating 3D scans, validating spatial metrics, and ensuring high-quality data inputs for AI-enabled applications.

The position focuses on working with point clouds, warehouse imagery, and structured and unstructured data to generate accurate capacity, utilization, and spatial measurements that support logistics insights and operational improvements.

What You Will Do
• Annotate 3D scans (point clouds) within the team’s AI-enabled application, including drawing annotations, labeling storage areas, and capturing qualitative data.
• Validate and correct AI-generated spatial metrics, ensuring algorithms correctly capture warehouse space and making manual modifications as needed.
• Perform manual metric calculations such as attainable height, occupied square footage, and utilization percentages to ensure data accuracy.
• Work with disparate datasets to perform data cleaning, aggregation, and validation to generate meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to provide feedback on UI/UX improvements, annotation workflows, and data consistency issues.
• Support refinement of annotation business rules and documentation of standard operating procedures.

What We Are Looking For

Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Public Policy, Science, or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in numerical and spatial metrics.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets and perform data cleaning, aggregation, and validation.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, architecture, or geospatial analysis.
• Comfort performing structured numeric calculations and applying quality control methodologies.

Clearance and Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Location
•Remote with minimal travel in support of DLA initiatives.

Who We Are

We are one of the fastest growing companies in the Washington, DC area and proud to be recognized nationally as a Best Place to Work. As an 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned, and Women Owned Small Business, we bring ownership, accountability, and care to everything we do. Our teams are welcoming, collaborative, and deeply committed to mission success. We believe great work happens when people feel supported, respected, and trusted, and we work hard to create that environment every day.

What We Offer
Competitive salary | Benefits | 401(k) | Bonus and profit sharing | Flexible hours | Education reimbursement | PTO

Final Note
If you want to work for a company that cares about its people, contribute to a mission that truly matters, and be part of a team where you are valued for who you are as well as what you do, we would love to hear from you.
