Baer is looking for EDM Functional Consultant for a 4 month remote project
Title: EDM Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 4 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are seeking an experienced EDM Functional Consultant to support the transition from Enterprise Document Management (EDM) to xECM. The consultant will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, configure solutions, support testing, and ensure engineering document management processes align with business needs.
Description:
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for the EDM to xECM transition.
  • Create functional specifications for document lifecycles, metadata, and engineering workflows.
  • Configure and prototype xECM solutions based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering SMEs to validate functional designs.
  • Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.
  • Update Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and configuration documentation.
  • Assist in preparing user training materials and process documentation.
  • Ensure solutions meet business objectives and support successful system adoption.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with xECM functional configuration and engineering lifecycle design.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience creating functional specifications, test cases, and supporting UAT.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree
