Become a Key Player as a Product Security Engineer

As a Product Security Engineer, you will partner directly with engineering product teams to reduce vulnerability risk and improve the organization's security posture. You will influence remediation priorities, lead incident response efforts, and own key metrics that surface time-to-remediation and SLA adherence. This role is open to Remote work and will engage closely with cross-functional engineering stakeholders.

  • Act as the technical security point-of-contact for engineering product teams
  • Strategically prioritize and drive remediation of vulnerabilities within SLA
  • Lead security response during incidents and coordinate with engineering teams
  • Own and report metrics and escalations (e.g., Time-To-Remediation, SLA adherence) to surface risk posture
  • Identify and implement strategic improvements and paved-road solutions to improve resilience
  • Manage vulnerability backlog and enable risk hygiene across products
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with vulnerability triage, risk assessment, and incident response
  • Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques
  • Knowledge of infrastructure vulnerabilities, mitigation techniques, and tooling (e.g., Spotlight Crowdstrike, Rapid7 Nexpose)
